Garbage pick-up is every Tuesday. There is a recyclable bin at the village barn on First Street.
The Village of Pioneer supplies electricity within the village corporation limits. A utility bill will be sent by the 1st of every month. These bills are due on the 16th.
Each utility bill contains charges for electric, water, sewer, and garbage. The water, sewer and garbage is a flat rate each month.
The following are the current rates for water, sewer, and garbage.
Non-Owner Occupied:
Water: $35.00
Sewer: $35.00
Garbage: $14.00
Owner Occupied Family
Water: $35.00
Sewer: $35.00
Garbage: $14.00
Owner Occupied Single
Water: $25.00
Sewer: $28.00
Garbage: $10.00
The utility bill can be paid at the Village Administrative Office Monday-Friday from 8:00am-4:00pm, excluding holidays. There is also a night drop box located in the parking lot.
